Stubben Saddles

Stubben, has been owned and operated by the same family for more than 120 years, is known for its combination of time-honored craftsmanship, extensive expertise, and cutting-edge technology. In the year 1894, the city of Krefeld in Germany was the setting for the beginning of the success story of Stubben.

Our high-quality equestrian products are currently being distributed throughout all five continents and in more than 50 countries. These operations are being overseen by the fourth and fifth generations of the Stubben family. Historical knowledge and expertise, constant engagement with worldwide top athletes, and the processing of high-quality raw materials within our product ranges all ensure the one-of-a-kind mix of utility and design that today’s markets are looking for in their products. The most essential component of a sustainable manufacturing model has been, and will continue to be, an open and honest working relationship with all of our business partners, including our suppliers and trade partners.

The Stubben Company views itself as an employer that is responsible and cares for each and every one of its workers. The majority of our team members have received training within our organisation, and as a result of the positive working environment, an increasing number of team members are deciding to spend their whole careers working with us. In a broad sense, for us, the concept of sustainability is more important than adhering to ethical rules and respecting them. Because we are the owners of the manufacturing facilities in Germany, Switzerland, and Spain where our high-quality saddles and leather equipment are produced, we are in a position to manage and supervise the whole production process, beginning with the introduction of raw materials and continuing all the way through to the finished product. Importantly, we never use any non-renewable sources of raw materials in our manufacturing, such as chrome-tanned leather. This allows us to operate a production method that is kind to the environment and yields benefits for both the rider and the horse.
