The NRD Half breed saddle
The Half breed saddle has a sturdy fibreglass tree, swinging fenders, stirrups that are curved, nylon Latigo straps, and a felt-lined anti-slip panel.
The NRD Half breed is made from premium drum-dyed leather and features chrome-plated fittings, a comfy anti-slip seat, and rear slots for an optional flank girth.
The normal gullet’s widest point measures 15 cm. A safe and comfortable ride is made possible with the 8 cm knee protectors and an 11 cm seat dip.
A Half breed means a saddle halfway between a western saddle and a stock saddle. It however has no horn like a western saddle does. The panels against the horse are padded rather than flocked like in a stock saddle. It allows comfort and security and is a particular favourite in the Australian cattle and bush riding segment of riding. It has swinging fender stirrups straps and oxbow irons which are more like a western style iron.
